What happens to people who bought the Mac app before version 4.0?
They automatically receive permanent Plus at no charge. No action or subscription is required, and they permanently keep unlimited sessions and every feature that existed before 4.0.
What is the Free plan limit?
Free includes all core features, up to 5 saved sessions, and 5 AI requests each week. At the session limit, Tab Space only blocks creating another session; it never deletes or hides sessions you already saved.
What is the difference between Plus and Pro?
Free and Plus both include 5 AI requests each week. Plus is a $9.99 one-time purchase for unlimited sessions and all core features. Pro includes Plus, makes AI organizing unlimited, adds multi-browser support (beta) for Safari, Chrome, Microsoft Edge, and Firefox, and includes future Pro features for $1.99 monthly or $17.99 annually. The annual plan includes a 7-day free trial. These plans arrive with version 4.0, which has not been released yet.
Will my membership work on iPhone and iPad?
The iOS app remains a separate paid app for now. Memberships will arrive in a future iOS version; the same Pro subscription will then work across platforms, and existing iOS purchasers will automatically receive Plus.
Does Tab Space sync between Mac, iPhone, and iPad?
Yes. Sessions sync across your Macs, iPhones, and iPads through your own iCloud, with no account
required. The Tab Space app for iPhone and iPad is available on the App Store.
Where is my data stored?
Sessions live in a native app database on your device, outside the browser, and sync through your own
iCloud. AI only receives the session information you choose to process.
Which browsers does Tab Space support?
Multi-browser support is a beta feature of Tab Space Pro 4.0, which is coming soon and not yet released. It covers Safari, Chrome, Microsoft Edge, and Firefox 121 or later on Mac. Sessions stay in
the native Mac app no matter which browser saved them. The extension is published on the
Chrome Web Store,
and Microsoft Edge installs the same listing. Because the feature is in beta, please send any problem to
support@mytab.space. See the
multi-browser setup guide.
Which macOS and iOS versions are supported?
Tab Space requires macOS 11 or later on Mac, and iOS or iPadOS 16 or later on iPhone and iPad.
Can I import my OneTab data into Tab Space?
Yes. Export your list from OneTab and use Tab Space's Import from OneTab feature. Your saved tab groups
become Tab Space sessions.
Can I export my saved tabs?
Yes. Sessions can be exported to Text, Markdown, HTML, or JSON at any time, and automatic backups keep
hourly, daily, weekly, and monthly copies.
